The healing properties of the flowers will soothe and protect the skin, as well as provide relaxation from the outside in. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-family: Georgia;\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eA flower bath\u003c\/strong\u003e-- pour the flowers directly into the bath! Bonus points if you add magnesium bath salts (\u003ca href=\"https:\/\/mblapothecary.ca\/collections\/cbd-salts\" target=\"_blank\"\u003ehere\u003c\/a\u003e are my favourites) **you will need to strain the flowers out\/use a cover for your bath plug so as not to clog the pipes** \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-family: Georgia;\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eA soothing, heart opening tea\u003c\/strong\u003e-- use 2 tsp per cup of water. Pour {almost} boiling water over the flowers and let steep for 5-10 minutes. Strain, add honey\/sweetener if desired and enjoy. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-family: Georgia;\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eA healing padsicle\u003c\/strong\u003e-- one of my favourite things to use postpartum were homemade padsicles! Make a strong \"tea\" using 1\/2 cup of hot water and 2 tablespoons of bath tea. Strain and let it cool. Mix equal parts tea with Aloe Vera gel (\u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalnutrition.ca\/lily-of-the-desert-aloe-vera-gel-whole-leaf-100-946ml.html\" target=\"_blank\"\u003ethis\u003c\/a\u003e is the one I use), and pour liquid down the centre of the pad. Fold soaked pad back up, place it back in its pouch, and freeze. Take a padsicle out of the freezer and place in your underwear to ease pain and inflammation and provide healing medicinal plants for the irritated skin. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-family: Georgia;\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ePerineum spray\u003c\/strong\u003e-- make a strong \"tea\" using 2 tablespoons herb for 1\/2 cup water and let it steep for 5-10 minutes. Strain and let cool, then place in a spray bottle, adding alcohol free witch hazel if you have it. Spray on the perineum throughout the day to soothe and heal the skin.
