Soul Shield Cleansing Plant Bath

Over the last year I have really fallen in love with plant baths. Plants offer such unique perspectives and can help facilitate shifts for us on more than just a physical level. Plant baths provide energetic support... think of it like you are steeping yourself in the qualities of the plant(s), or asking them to be brought out in you.

Water in itself is cleansing, clearing. Many rituals and ceremonies involve bathing or pouring water over the head, symbolizing letting go. Infusing plants into this ritual is a very powerful practice and special way of getting to know the plants and working with their properties.

This bath can be used any time, or whenever you feel the need to clear and protect your energetic field. This could be post-ceremony if working with medicines, after being around a lot of people, after facilitating healing work, or if you feel particularly heavy or weighed down by stuff that may not even be yours.

How to Prepare:

Pour contents of bag into a medium or large saucepan and fill with {filtered} water. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer for 20-30 minutes. Strain out the plant material and offer it to the Earth as a gesture of thanks. Pour the bath "tea" into your bath and enjoy.

I like to make sure that every part of my body has touched the bath-- pour some water over your head, splash your face, let your hair get wet.

If you have any particular intentions, you can speak them into the bath as you are preparing it, or as you are pouring it into your bath. An example of this could be asking that the bath clear any unwanted or unwelcome entities or energies in your field, and that it provide you with protection.
